As humans, we are born with the freedom to choose — that is why we can live differently. Despite our differing perspectives, we all ultimately desire a better life. The objective of this course is to ensure that better life.
We have the freedom to live as we wish, but everything we do has its own consequences — whether good or bad. Therefore, a better life is not something that comes by luck, but rather the result of how we live, day by day. In short, habits truly shape our destiny.
But then, what does a better life truly mean, and which habits lead to it? For that, we need a criterion. Since human perspectives are limited and vary from person to person, we need a complete and perfect criterion. Only the Creator of everything — who possesses all knowledge — can provide that. That is why we choose the Quran as our criterion.
"Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward." Quran 17:9
But knowing the right habits is not enough — we need to practice them deliberately. That is where self-regulation comes in. Self-regulation is the conscious practice of making decisions aligned with a clear purpose. In here, we regulate our habits — guided by the Quran — to build a truly better life.
Habit Mastery is a course designed to teach and train you in the essential skill of Self-Regulation, rooted deeply in Quranic principles. Here, we bridge behavioural science with divine guidance. Through this systematic approach, you can change your habits effectively. To understand how this course works, you first need to understand the two styles of living: Autopilot vs. Intentional.
In today's fast-paced, hyper-connected world — full of fleeting pleasures and conflicting ideas — we often struggle to focus on what truly matters. Most of us live on autopilot: a state where our actions are driven by unconscious patterns of pleasure-seeking and external pressures. In this mode, we are not exercising free will or sound judgement — we are simply repeating habitual loops, drifting further from the life we truly desire.
Intentional living is the conscious shift from being a passive passenger to becoming the active driver of our own lives. It is the practice of pausing between stimulus and response, ensuring every decision we make steadily moves us toward our goal — a truly better life. Unlike autopilot, intentional living is a deliberate, insight-driven way of living with purpose and clarity — and it is exactly what this course is designed to help you build.
This course features a specially designed tool — the Habit Tracker. It is a seven-step analyzer that decodes your habits, revealing the underlying patterns and motives that drive them. By using this tool effectively, you will gain clear insight into autopilot living, empowering your transformation toward intentional living. At its core, this tool is what we use throughout this course to develop the necessary skill of self-regulation.
